Meet Julia Damatin

Julia is a New York City–based multi-hyphenate artist and the founder of Julia Jean Media, LLC. She earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University at Buffalo, SUNY, and first began creating content for fun after graduating. She created her brand, Actors Are Athletes, in 2023 to discuss and share stories around fitness and wellness in the entertainment industry — highlighting her own journey while amplifying the voices of actors across regional theatre, college, cruise ships, off-Broadway, and beyond. After moving to NYC, she supported herself as a bartender while auditioning as an actor, which soon opened doors to freelance opportunities in the food and beverage industry. In January 2025, she transformed that freelance work into a full-fledged business. Julia brings excitement, creativity, and empathy to every project, helping businesses amplify their voice and share their story in a way that truly shines.
